Why Sunday Worship is Important?
Man was created to worship God. The first step in Christianity is to go to church on Sunday and worship God. David was very happy when they said to him about going to Church. But he was feeling sad when he was not able to go to Church (Psalm 42:2, 4). He was longing to come before the presence of God.
The people of Israel were blessed and lived in prosperity when they worshipped the Lord. But when they left him, they were scattered and delivered into the hands of their enemies. By worshipping God on Sunday we are honouring the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Worship brings the Lord’s presence in our midst and we rejoice by hearing the Word of God and are blessed according to our needs. We have a good fellowship around the Word of God and grow spiritually and can be changed from glory to glory.
Bible Says
Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
Psalms 100:2, 4
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
